Dick - 

I mounted the Palm Mini-Paddle on a small piece of 1/4" steel with
rubber slip guards on the bottom. This works quite well to stabilize the
paddle yet still keep a small footprint. An alternative is to use the
plastic mounting base that comes with the paddle and mount it right on
the K1. Either way, the paddle itself is very good for its purpose and I
would recommend it. It's only flaw is the somewhat delicate connection
between the paddle and its cable. 73/Tim Logan NZ7C
