[Elecraft] Recommended Fluke?

If you want to measure capacitors, are you thinking rf values (say less than
1000 pf) or audio values (greater than 1000 pf, and including
electrolytics).

For rf values measurements, the AADE LC/IIB kit seems to be pretty much an
accepted standard for L/C measurement of rf values. I haven't seen a
multimeter that equals it at these values. Doesn't mean there isn't one out
there, but I haven't seen one.

Fluke meters are very good for general purpose work. Just not sure about
them at the rf L/C vlues level.

Good luck and 73,

Subject: [Elecraft] Recommended Fluke?

Just ordered a K2/KSB2 and I'm getting myself organized for the building.

My Simpson analog meter is working fine but my digital multimeter isn't so
I'm looking to pick up a used Fluke (I'm thinking bench model). Any advice?
I'm thinking along the lines of an 8010, 8050 or maybe even an 8800. Any
recommendation and/or particular model I should consider ?

Also, I've never had a VOM that measured capacitance... is it a worthwhile
function?

Thanks,
Mike
