Oh, it's the well-known (I think) affliction of "Wierd At One Frequency," in
which the K2, on or about 7.185 MHz, tends to make signals sound as if
they're under water or some such.  If you don't have it, I envy you!  I
can't get rid of mine (the Elecraftians have a tech note to the effect of
correcting (ha!) this).

Besides, a southern dog would go "waof-waof" (!).
