Received my KAT2 direct from Elecraft this morning (dispatched Tuesday).  I did
consider whether it would be cheaper to buy via QRPproject in Germany when I bought
my K2 but assumed that since they would have to pay VAT at the (higher I believe)
German rate and by the time exchange rates had been taken into account there would be
little difference.

For information I paid Elecraft's normal $154 plus 22.14UKP to the Post Office, which
I reckon works out at around 130UKP.  I wonder if Nikolas will actually save
anything.

Yet another new one - 3B8/DL6UAA on 24MHz first call!  But I couldn't break the pile
up on 18MHz,
