[Elecraft] K2 #2563 on the air!

Made my first QSO with K-2 number 2563 today- Tks AK7D in Portland, Ore,
also using a K2.  I think I'm going to like this.  Now to put together the
SSB module and 160M module.

Only one serious error in construction- Put the front panel plug on the top
of the RF board rather than the bottom.  Rather than try to salvage the old
plug and possibly mangle the circuit board, I cut the old plug out and
unsoldered each pin one at a time.  The new plug went in without a hitch.  I
used AA3WF's toroids, and they aided greatly in the time of construction- I
wasn't in a hurry, put I figure I put in 25 hours over 3 weeks to construct
this.  Every test, every step of the way it worked FB- except for the plug
above and wiring the Freq counter plug backwards grounding the signal.

Nice kit.  Now for the PA! (Once its available, of course)
