Your summation looks correct to me, but to clarify I believe your VAT
would be payable to UK Customs at time of delivery, not to Elecraft.
Here in Canada I would order from Elecraft paying in US$, Elecraft would
ship to me declaring the value of the shipment in US$; Canada Customs
would calculate the value of the shipment in Can.$, add 7% Goods &
Services Tax to the Can.$ value, add 7% Ontario Sales Tax to the Can.$
value, add a $5.00 Handling charge and have my Post Mistress collect the
Taxes when she delivers the package to my door. Simple but darned
expensive!
