As previously pointed out, set your required frequency with the RIT button pressed,
then release it and press XIT. In any case your transmit frequency will be displayed
when you go to transmit.
In fact, as commented the other day, it is in any case easier to use the dual A/B
vfos to work split and not to bother with the XIT at all. I used to use RIT/XIT
extensively on my FT101ZD to do this, but no longer bother with the K2 with its dual
vfos.
re: wish list, pass band tuning.
I assume it is the SSB chaps who are asking for this. As a CW only op there would be
little advantage with the superb filters of the K2.
