[Elecraft] Wish list

Greetings all,
                    I have been lucky enough to have operated the K2 here 
now for over 6 months, and there are two items I would like to see 
implemented , that I feel would *really* put the icing on the cake.
Firstly (and I think it has been bought up before)...It would be nice if 
the set retained the operating mode in each VFO. ie be able to work CW in 
VFO "A" and SSB in VFO "B" just by flicking between VFO's. I work on a CW 
practice net once a week (I need it) , and we have a session on CW and a 
read back on SSB. At present I have to use two memory channels to cater for 
the two different modes. I have been known to end up on the wrong band by 
not pressing the BAND+ button long enough to activate the RCL.
Secondly,  I feel it would be nice to have three dedicated  rate switches, 
one above the other on the RH side of the VFO knob.  Having one switch for 
three rates can be a bind.
So ...folk....don't get me wrong. I think this is the greatest little radio 
I could ever hope to own, but if Elecraft do come out with a revise MCU 
chip to cater for my first "wish" I will be first in line to order one. The 
second "wish" would need a new front panel and  control board......perhaps 
a bit much of a wish?
