What happened is that the mailing list was moved over to Mailman
software; previously, it had been run using Majordomo. All the old
Majordomo subscribers were moved over to Mailman, but their preferences
were not.

A few hours ago, you should have gotten a welcome message telling you
that you were subscribed to the Elecraft list. (A copy of the one I got
is included below; the password has been changed to protect the
innocent.) You can go to the subscription page (replace my email address
in the one shown below with your own) to change your subscription to
digest mode.

If you didn't get your welcome message, or already deleted it, you can
also get Mailman to send you your password, which you will need to make
any other changes. It will be sent to the email address that is
subscribed to the list.

(copy of welcome message follows...)

Welcome to the [email protected] mailing list!

To post to this list, send your email to:

   [email protected]

General information about the mailing list is at:

   http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft

If you ever want to unsubscribe or change your options (eg, switch to
or from digest mode, change your password, etc.), visit your
subscription page at:

   http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/options/elecraft/mark%40buttery.org

You can also make such adjustments via email by sending a message to:

   [email protected]

with the word `help' in the subject or body (don't include the
quotes), and you will get back a message with instructions.

You must know your password to change your options (including changing
the password, itself) or to unsubscribe. It is:

   xxxxxx

If you forget your password, don't worry, you will receive a monthly
reminder telling you what all your mailman.qth.net mailing list
passwords are, and how to unsubscribe or change your options. There
is also a button on your options page that will email your current
password to you.

You may also have your password mailed to you automatically off of the
Web page noted above.
