There was a discussion at the club meeting Friday night about the availability of EIDXA club apparel from Cotton Gallery located in Marion. Also, Rich - W3ACO is getting pricing information from W5HB  who also can make very nice looking club apparel for us.


I had a couple of polo shirts and a ball cap at the meeting that I had Cotton Gallery make for me that had the club logo embroidered on the left chest and call, name and QTH on the right. Price for the embroidered shirts from Cotton Gallery are $19 and $10.50 for the ball cap.

Their on-line catalog (http://cottongallery.com) shows everything you can have embroidered as club apparel. I tried to get Eric to say that our price would be catalog price plus a certain percentage for embroidering but he said they couldn't do that since some items are more difficult than others. So it is best to get pricing directly from Cotton Gallery for the item you are interested in. Just let him know you are part of the Eastern Iowa DX Association radio club and he'll know what to do.


There seemed to be interest among the members at the club meeting Friday night for a club jacket similar to one that was made about 25 years ago. I'll work with Cotton Gallery and see what they can do in that area..... so stay tunned.
