[EIDXA] EIDXA Picnic Reminder

Just a reminder that the annual EIDXA fall picnic will be held one week from today (September 24) at Karin Blankenhagen's (K0EGQ) QTH in Martelle. The address is 7734 Highway 1 which is just north of the greater Martelle metropolis.


The eyeball QSOs usually start around 3 - 3:30 with the brats coming off the grill around 5 - 5:30. Please bring a hot dish, salad, desert or any tasty dish you'd like to share with the group. Also, please bring your own chairs, table service and beverages.


The long range weather forecast calls for a 60% chance of PM showers for next Saturday. In case we do get inclement weather next Saturday, the rain date for the picnic is October 8 (Iowa University football away game). The last few years we have had beautiful weather for the picnic so hopefully our track record will hold out.
