Thanks Jim. I believe Craig – K0CF already has the link up on EIDXA.ORG and hopefully everyone will click on it.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if everyone read, understood and practiced the DX Code of Conduct! DXing would certainly be far less stressful and the DXpedition throughput would probably go up noticbley.

I can think of at least one more that could be added. “I will not transmit on the DX station’s frequency and ask WHERE IS HE LISTENING.” That one really irks me…… even if the DX station isn’t constantly announcing where he is listening (i.e., up 5 to 15) then listening and tuning for 30 seconds, one can pretty well figure it out….. but no, someone always has to ask and ask and ask until a thousand others start yelling UP, UP, UP. And the chaos begins.

This could be kind of a fun EIDXA survey….. “If you could add one additional item to the DX Code of Conduct, what would it be????” Let us know.

Thanks,

Joe – K8OM

One of the new Yasme Foundation Grants:  “A grant to the DX Code of Conduct founder and website operator (www.dx-code.org)”

The DX Code of Conduct is worth a serious look by all of us and serves as a checklist for good practice.  I suggest we put a link to it on the EIDXA website.
