I sent this note to a friend and then thought that others might find the info on RFI interesting and/or helpful:

Here are a couple of references on Power Line Noise:

1.  This video:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jTY6Zlp6x4 is K3LR interviewing K3RFI, Mike Martin.  Mike is the real expert I mentioned.  I managed to arrange for him to address all of the amateur clubs in the area a few years ago.  We used the St. Luke’s auditorium.  I do not remember if you were there.

2.  If you let YouTube continue past the K3LR interview it continues on the same topic.  The 3rd one is really quite good.  I did not continue but there may be more good ones.

3.  The National Contest Journal that came today (May/June 2016) has an interesting article on page 10—“Building Contest Scores by Killing Receive Noise—Part 1”.
