Mahaska Amateur Radio Club Swapmeet.


The Mahaska Amateur Radio Club will host it’s 28th annual Amateur Radio Swapmeet, on Saturday march 19,2016. It will be held at the American Legion Hall located at 302 high avenue east ( which is one block south of highway 92 and one block east of the town square). It will run from 8:00 am until about 11:30 am. Admission is by donation, Tables may be rented for $5.00 each. There is usually used Amateur Radio equipment and accessories, used computer equipment and accessories, and occasionally a CB radio or two for sale. Soda, coffee, water, and doughnuts will be available. D & L antenna supply from kansas city has agreed to come this year,he has requested 5 tables for his new equipment, he stated that he has new dual band radio's selling for $125.00, if you would like to contact him and place an order for any thing in particular, he can be reached at=   sales at dandlantenna.com  in addition,there will be equipment from 2 estates there, KB0KRN and N5LFJ... and from KD0HGX who is getting out of the hobby. Door Prizes= this year we have some door prizes to give out!!! these consist of ARRL gift certificates and also a $10.00 gift certificate from the RF adapter guy, along with 2 tickets to the peoria super fest, and D&L has promised some fun toys, don't know what they are at this time, so guess we all can look forward to being suprised... 

The door prizes will be given out at 10:30, with the names being selected from the guest log, so you must sign it when you enter to be elgible for the drawing..the names will be selected using a random number generator, so please sign the guest log as you enter.( it will be next to the donation can.(hint))

I am getting out of the hobby and have have a lot of gear to sale.

>As for equipment I have a swan 250 with power supply that has been recapped puts out 80 watts comes with a d-104 silver eagle mite need a small tune up,I have two Henry tempo ones white face with power supply they both receive good but no transmit,and two Henry tempo ones black face one receives and one transmits I have the power supply for them but it needs a resistor and some diods,other than that its ok.I have two tempo 2-meter fm and ssb radios that work good a yeasu ft-101e with ext vfo and speaker works good just a little week on receive.Realistic 2-meter mobile 242 realistic 404 hand held alinco 2-meter hand held bran new I have a new a3s cushcraft was only up 1 year works 100% I have a used 40 meter add on kit for the a3s works as it should,two 2-meter cushcraft beams and two parts beams hygain 4 element 6-meter beam 2-meter ringo a 220 ringo aliance hd rotor with extra parts and control box just took it off the tower comes with tower plate one ham 5 rotor and controller lots of small rotors and boxes.I wont be able to bring the towers but if you know some one who needs towers I have a 25g 40 foot with tilt over base and house bracket,I have a 30 foot 25g? and maybe 40-50 foot of misc 25g sections all have tops.I have other electronic components,coax,antenna parts, mics ect. thank you charlie .You can contact Charlie at= 641-954-9590  or    scott.barwick at mediacombb.net
