[EIDXA] Dayton Hamvention

I can't believe that they are not going to do something in increase the
under roof space for the vendors...Perhaps new pole buildings?? After all
they are pretty cheap and if the venue has a long term contract with the
Dayton Hamvention the could justify that. Fancy tents like we see the
European use all the time would be acceptable too I thi8nk. The real big
issue is going to be flea market and they do not have a lot of concrete or
Black top to put this on. They have plenty of land (similar acreage as
Hara) but not the blacktop...So maybe they will convert some of that grassy
area to gravel or something that will work. Flea market on grass will be a
mess..

Steve

  Fingers crossed

Good research, Steve. Now I guess I understand why they didn't make a
comparison. I know they didn't have a lot choices but having half the
indoor space will impact the Hamvention. Also 20-25 mile drive to Dayton
hotels.

Thanks, Jim. W0SR
