Hello All,

I want to thank everyone that attend the joint radio club meeting last
night! Hopefully, everyone had a good time and met some new hams.

It was a pleasure seeing so many new faces at the meeting, especially all of
the scouts and their leaders that were able to attend. I got a brief moment
to talk with a few of the scouts during the break and they are an excellent
group of intelligent, enthusiastic, well-rounded young men. I'm sure their
parents are very proud of them! I certainly hope they will consider
participating in club meetings and other events of any of our local radio
clubs.

Thank you Charley - KC0CD and Scott - N0GUD for your and your club
participation last night. It was a lot of fun seeing members of the 3 local
clubs together.

Once again, Glenn - W0GJ gave an excellent DX program and also a dog and
pony show on the Flex radio. Seemed like everyone wanted to get around the
radio and play with the Maestro control unit. Thanks Glenn for your
continued support of EIDXA. Speaking of Flex Radios, the club raised $102
from the raffle of the Flex Radio discount certificate. Your generosity will
certainly help with our donations to future DXpeditions.

Don't forget to put July 19 on your schedule for the next EIDXA meeting. As
announced last night, Roger Hoffman - N4RR will be presenting on his recent
participation to VP8STI / VP8SGI DXpedition.

73 and thanks,

Joe - K8OM
President EIDXA
