Jason, NR0X and I have been discussing the possibility of operating NR0X in the CQ WW SSB contest October 24-26.
We are looking for a number of ops that would like to participate. This contest runs from 0000Z Oct 24 thru 2359Z Oct 26. (48 hours)
As there are two operating positions, we will run multi-one (one run station, one multiplier station). This is an opportunity for many to operate from a BIG GUN station and have some fun.
A food fund will be set up, all ops will share equally in the food/drink expenses. For rest/sleeping, ops can sleep in their vehicles, bring motor homes, campers or tents. Those with extra accommodations can share space and make other arrangements.
Shifts will be 2-4 hours or who ever gets tired.
We will work all bands from 160 M thru 10 Meters.
Looking for at least 8 ops. So far, NR0X, W3ACO and NA9Q. I would like to see 12 ops or more, if possible to share the fun.
Jason will be the station manager.
As I am a decent cook, I will prepare at least one sit-down dinner. No chocolate chip cookies and beer for supper !
Please reply, lets see what kind of response I can get.

I'll let you go ahead and ask around. I think you know who you're looking for better than I do. And this is your baby. I'm just the guy with antennas.

Jason, I received an inquiry about working the contest from Geoff at PJ2T.
Geoff asked for replies, which I declined.
If Geoff is asking now, perhaps its time we asked EIDXA members if they want
to work the CQWW SSB contest from NR0X. We just need an affirmative reply,
but don't need to schedule time now. Can you do this or do you want me to do
this ?
