[EIDXA] Clublog Leader board yes or no

Actually there were 69 DXPeds sampled and only *3* of them had LB turned off. I don't think that's a good enough number given the spreads for uniqs they showed in the plots.

Additionally, I think a missing component are uniqs/ATNO across time: meaning, a very long dxpedition, I would guess, would have a different distribution of dupes/uniqs/non-atno as the DXPed goes on. I think understanding that distribution would be critical to understanding how you get more uniqs and ATNO in the log as quickly as possible with various changes in operating/online scoring/leaderboards whatever. Why I think this is important is that for a short dxpedition, or, more critically, for a truncated dxpedition (as has happend in the past year with VK9MT), the important number would be the number of ATNO in the first several days of the DXped. I would expect that there are fewer uniqs the longer a DXPed is on the air, which changes the picture over a suitcase trip that was QRV for 72 hours before the sea lions moved in and ate their rations/K3's.

I would still theorize that hunting for leaderboard stats would also be at a high during the first parts of the DXped, which would be in competition with ATNO/Uniqs (all of us new guys are still trying to get in the log since we weren't QRV in the 90's when a lot of these places were last activated..). The shorter the dxped, the less time to get on the LB, and the less time to get an ATNO.

*Their* conclusion is that it has no statistical impact, but, I think their data needs to have more points to really draw a valid conclusion. There seem to be strong feelings from some sections of CDXC that appear to like the concept of the LB, because the column by Nigel (In the DX Window), G3TXF, makes the case that K1N should consider turning LB on. Nothing wrong with the competition of the LB, but,

I think that a more interesting LB may be one that takes into account log submissions that contain all activations of a DXEntity--that would give the big guns their limelight, especially if dupes across activations resulted in penalty to their LB score.
