[EIDXA] beams with snow/ice

Several years ago we had an ice storm that covered my beam with ice. I left
it pointing straight East. When the sun came out it melted the ice off the
elements that were sagging to the South. No ice melted off the other side of
the elements that were pointing North. The weight of the ice was enough
that the elements turned on the boom.

The idea is to point the beam either North or South and let the sun evenly
melt both sides of the elements.
