David,
My sense is this is not a wiring issue - but more of a computer
configuration issue. The good news is that N1MM is configurable for just
about anything you may want. The bad news is that N1MM is configurable
for just about anything you may want!!!
I would highly suggest that you go to the N1MM reflectors and either
search for an answer to your questions - or post your question to the
reflector. My bet is that 1000 others have already done what you want to
do and can take you there step by step.
Otherwise you will be swimming in the .ini file pool.
Good luck,
Rick

Has anyone successfully combined a P3, a K3, SteppIR and N1MM? If so how
did you wire it up (which pins connect and which not)? The computer has a
true serial port.
The SteppIR worked fine with the K3 and P3 alone. Once we added the
Computer and N1MM the SteppIR no longer follows the K3 and only changes
when a call sign is entered in the logging window.
And how about adding MMTTY to the mix?
