[EIDXA] QCHams Intercom Idea

I had a couple of unused Radio Shack intercoms and thought I would pass
this idea to all.  The intercom has an audio input that one can connect to
the speaker output of the radio.  This input uses VOX to automatically
switch to the TALK mode when it receives some audio.  With the 2M/440 radio
in the basement, I can carry the intercom to the 1st or 2nd floor of the
home and hear the radio.  The intercom accepts rechargeable batteries, so
you really don't need AC power for the remote unit.  They are available
from time to time on e-Bay.

Works very well.
