[EIDXA] Noise Cancelling Headphones

I bought a pair of Beats Executive Noise Cancelling Headphones. Music sounds
amazing in them, but the "active noise cancelling" is a dismal failure.   I
wore them for 30 seconds, put them in a box, and returned them to Staples.
Then I turned to Best Buy, and picked up a pair of Bose QuietComfort 15
headphones.

Ok, these things are creepy!!

It's like your ears have an off switch or something.   You put them on, and
everything gets pretty quiet.  Then you flip the switch, and they reach
inside your skull and unplug your ears from your head!  Until you turn on
the radio.  After wearing them for awhile, I took them off and was blown
away by how loud this room is, and I never noticed it before!

Thanks to N0YY for turning me on to noise cancelling headphones, to Staples
for having a return policy, and to Bose for being insane enough to make
these things!
