[EIDXA] Cluster

Steve,

Please share any results you get, I suspect several of us have the same 
question.

I use W9ZRX and W9ODD connected through my DX4WIN.  I try to stay connected 
on two different computers, upstairs and downstairs, but for some reason I 
cannot stay connected for more than a day or so.  They may be timing me out 
for lack of activity?  Any ideas would be appreciated.  Someone suggested 
that I need a program that generates activity but I've never been able to 
find it.

Several friends use the VE7CC software and cluster and are very satisfied 
with it.  I guess it has the capability of calling your pager or cell phone 
when a new one shows up.  I would sure get a lot of calls from W3LPL!

What is everybody favorite Cluster to hook up to using the internet and
what are you using for the application software.  Just telnet or
something a bit more specific??  I have been using the WA0ROI cluster
and Putty , is that one that you all recommend ?  Whats everyone's
favorite or a you all using the embedded cluster software in some of the
logging programs??
