Tom,
I purchased my photo QSL card from UX5UO last fall and it was a great
experience. I submitted my own designs for both the front and reverse sides
by email. I designed the report block so I could use the card with hand
written data for the QSO, or so I could paste a label from my label printer
and DX4WIN right over the report area. I did the proposed layouts with
imbedded photos in MS Word and sent the word files. Within 48 hours I had a
reply from Gennady with proof copies incorporating his suggested changes.
What changes he made were good ones. I reviewed the proofs and made a
couple of final tweaks and emailed them back. A day later I had a final
proof by email which I approved. He has most ham related logos on file
(including EIDXA) and I only had to specify which ones I wanted and where
they were they were to be on the card. That evening I made the Paypal
payment to the fellow in ND and within a few hours I was copied on his email
to UX5UO telling him I had made the payment. About two and a half weeks
later I had the cards by mail. They are great looking and I will certainly
order again. I ordered the full color glossy front and full color matt
reverse. I'll attach what were the final proofs so you can see the card.
1000 cards were $89 US including shipment. If you want further customer
reviews, try eHam.com. I don't think you will find a review not praising
Gennady, the quality of the product or the service. In my case 3-1/2 weeks
from first inquiry to product on the doorstep.
Hope this helps,
Mike NA9Q I

Has anyone in the club gotten QSL's from UX5UO. If so, what was your
experience with them? If you did your own card design, how easy were they
to work with? They don't say much on their website about how to go about
submitting cards you've designed yourself so any details of the process
would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Tom - NC0O
