On the EIDXA Cluster you can reject spots from a particular user with a
simple command. My filter contains:

reject/spot 3 by w3lpl,w4ee

Where the '3' indicates filter #3 (numbers 0 through 9 are possible)
Multiple calls can be filtered with the same command by separating them
with commas (no spaces!) In my example spots by w3lpl and w4ee are
rejected. This filter persists until you change it so you don't need to
reenter it when you next log on.

See http://www.dxcluster.org/main/filtering_en.html and
http://gofrc.org/pdf/Filter%20Primer.pdf for more details on creating
custom filters.

Adding filters also helps reduce congestion on the packet cluster
frequency.

Because CW Skimmers pick these up and place them on clusters the ‘slims’ are apparently enjoying this new method of causing trouble. The offenders probably call CQ until they get spotted by a CW Skimmer, and then quit
perhaps to head to a different band to perform the same shenanigans. What can a user do to minimize this?
