OK;
The site has switched over to 2012. I've tested the XLS import a little :), but not the ODS; I think the ODS import is fine, but if there is a problem, let me know. I will try to give it a test later to be certain.
Don't forget to put your call in the proper field of the spreadsheet, or it won't be parsed and show up on the site. If you forget, no problem, just re-upload with your call and I'll pull out the no-call version later.
If you've got 2011 totals..don't upload them anymore.
Ignore the "Most Worked" section at the bottom; it was mostly useless anyway, I'll try to come up with some other stats.
If you have problems/questions on how to get your totals up, please let me know; I don't want that to be a hinderance to people participating.
Teams: I didn't hear much from anyone, but, I'm going to suggest this:
Lets add a team competition for this year. K8OM had a good idea regarding how to organize it. We've had a lot of new members in the last few years and I would suggest that if you're interested in doing a team entry, we do something like this:
The teams will consist of no more than 4 people. Pairs, Trios, Quads: I won't differentiate. If we're having trouble doing 4-person teams, then we can just do pairs, but we'll see what the interest is.
Full members on the honor roll wishing to participate should choose at least 1 associate member to be on their team.
Members with super-antenna systems should try to join with folks with folks with not-so-super antenna systems
Try not to work everything with 1 station, but try to network together and add to each others total.
Pick one members call and run the spreadsheet with that members call sign. I will find a way to denote team entries on the site, at some point.
Teams need to be organized and the list of members emailed to me no later than Feb 28 2012.
You can find a membership list on the website; please phone or drop emails to one another to create your teams and try and work together and have fun.
The login to the marathon upload page is the same as the members area of the EIDXA site:
