Here in LeClaire as well, definitely tropo propagation and nothing to be
concerned with.  Early morning or late at night two meters has been pretty
interesting.  I have several new states and grids just on .52 alone.

They have been co-ordinated on that frequency for some time and they do 
meet the minimum co-channel spacing (120 miles) per the Iowa Repeater 
Council.  I don't know if they have recently changed configuration but 
it is the tropo time of the year especially in the morning.
