Hello EIDXAers!

      This weekend is the ARRL International DX SSB Contest which 
begins at 6PM tomorrow,Friday, evening and runs until 6PM Sunday 
evening.   I am asking for everyone to make 100 contacts in the 
contest and to submit your log.   Let's see if we can push the 
combined club score from both weekends to well over the 3,000,000 
point mark!!   There are lots of great club operators so this 
shouldn't be difficult but only if they operate!!!!

      Please remember to enter the club name in the club competition 
box as  "Eastern Iowa DX Assn"  which is how the ARRL has us listed 
in their computer.

      Exchange:    You send:     Signal Report and State
                   The DX sends:     Signal Report and  Power    so 
be ready to hear  59 K    (59 1000)

Submit your log in cabrillo format (which is part of most contest 
logging software) to:    DXPhone at arrl.org

       It's another great opportunity to boost your country count in 
the Marathon and to pick up some of the rarer zones.   I'd like to
