[EIDXA] Guidelines for contributing to DX

Hi all,

The past few meetings we had a bit of discussion on and off regarding what
DX peditions we should or should not contribute to. I have put together
some ideas as a starting point. I would hope that those interested in this
subject give some thought to the guidelines we are developing for ourselves.

Here are my thoughts.

1. Within the top 100 (or 50) as per DX publishing.
2. DX pedition to focus on several HF bands, not just 160 CW or 2 M EME.
3. Operation could be CW only or RTTY only or SSB only, or any combination.
4. Participants to make a concerted effort, not holiday style.
5. The DX pedition will have a plan to work different areas of the world.
6. There should be no restriction on the number of participants, It could be
two or twenty two individuals.
7. Period of operation should be longer than 2 or 3 days.

I am sure there are other considerations that needs discussion. This item
is expected to be on the agenda at our next meeting.
