[EIDXA] January 2010 meeting minutes

Meeting was called to order at 7:25 PM by Joe, KC0VKN

There were 42 people in attendance. 

Rich. W3ACO, treasurers report was given and approved. 

Bill Halse,  N9CDX,  was voted in as a new member. 
Six people asked for membership applications. 

Brad,  K4RT would like to retire as newsletter editor.  Joe asked for volunteers.

Input from Mark, AB0DX and Gerry, WW0E re logos and apparel,  Discussion re the EIDXA logo, It appears that the logo is adequate to copy digitally and use for embroidery.  Web site is www.queensboro.com.   For those interested, please visit this site and contact Mark so order requests can be combined and prices determined. 

Club passed the hat and collected $182.00 for Craig, K9CT's expenses.  Funds will be deposited into the checking account.  Rich will send a check to Craig to cover his expenses once the total is determined.  

DXpedition to Midway, K4M was provided by Craig.   This was an excellent presentation.  Craig gave a lot of details about the island, its history and the planning effort that made the presentation both interesting and for those on the DXpedition, a lot of fun.
