Hamkitt a new Midwest Ham Radio Stores Grand opening this Saturday..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This Saturday May 1st, 2010 is the big Grand opening for a new and different kind of ham store called HAMKITT.
This new Ham Radio Store is located just North of Des Moines, Iowa, and right off US Interstate I-35, and Us Interstate I-80 almost where the two interstates meet in Ankeny, Iowa.

The Hamkitt store will feature not only online sales but a full walk in retail location with hard to find items to help the new ham get started, and help resupply the old salt who needs almost anything for the hobby.

Joe Leto W0IW the owner of HAMKITT has added many exciting services not found very often in other ham radio stores. Selling new and used equipment, as well as good used ham only equipment on consignment terms.

Joe also has included a tower/roof/attic antenna installations and maintenance services fully insured & ready to go for all your tower climbing & antenna installation needs.

Joe also added a full service center working with Tim Moes in South Dakota. Tim has been repairing radios for over 20 years and has an excellent track record for customer service and repairs.

HAMKITT also has ventured into designing custom full color QSL cards in photo shop for hams who
want a unique QSL card they cannot get anywhere else. Hamkitt does the new design of the QSL cards free of charge, and then when the customer is happy with their QSL card design HAMKITT has the cards professionally printed and shipped to the customer in under a week or so.

HAMKITT decided early on that this radio shop will run more on services for ham radio operators, and less on just turning a buck.. So all profits go back into the ham shop to stock it with new and exciting ham products that hams really want.

Right now Hamkitt carries a full line of MFJ, Ameritron, Hy-gain, Ice Manufacturing, mirage, ARRL, W5YI, Cushcraft products.

The Store is currently working on deals with LDG, Comet, Diawa, Maldol, Hustler, Astron, Pyramid, Heil, Array solutions, Tram Browning, Palstar, Kenwood, Yaesu, Icom, Alinco, W2IHY, and many many other great brands. As Joe can, he will be buying into these new dealerships brands, and providing even more products and services to his customers.

It's a process building a new ham store, and HAMKITT is starting out small in business with a small shop with low overhead, but everyday they get in more and more inventory, and the store is growing bigger.
Hamkitt already knows that they can compete with any store out there as far as prices go, and they look forward to years of service and support to the Amateur Radio community and supplying the things to keep Amateur Radio Operators on the air is the most important thing to HAMKITT
