EIDXA:

We have recently had some problems with members trying to post messages to
the EIDXA List on http://mailman.qth.net. Some things may have changed but
if you follow the current rules you should have no problems.

As for the messages, the rules are simple (although very restrictive):

1. Do not send HTML, rich text, or stylized email, or messages in
"quoted-printable" format. Not all email programs of list members will
recognize such formats. Send messages in Plain Text.

2. Do not send attachments (attached files) of any sort to mailing lists.
This includes URL shortcuts, v-cards, GEDCOM files, zipped files, or any
other type of attachment not mentioned here.

You can review these along with other message suggestions at the website
listed above.

One additional rule is critical:

3. In order to use the list server you must be a registered member.

If you change your email address you need to modify your old email address
or add the new one. You can do that yourself at the above website.

Let me know if you have any problems.
