W0VX has informed us that Lynn Schriner, W5FO (formerly, W0PCO) died this morning.  Lynn was a founding member of the EIDXA and a great guy.

This was posted to the Lone Star DX Association reflector this afternoon.  Thought you guys would like to know.  Please pass this on to others who might know/remember Lynn from his time in Cedar Rapids in the early 70's.

 

Lynn was a regular at our weekly DXer's lunch here until he and Nancy moved to AR a few years ago.  Same Lynn as he was in CR, always upbeat and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.

Lynn, W5FO, passed away peaceful this morning after a long battle with cancer.

He will be missed.
