[EIDXA] Summer meeting/picnic

Sometime after the 13th of July would work for us.  I would like to suggest
that as a condition of having the meeting we do something for the community.
This flood event is overwhelming; I have been working downtown as a
volunteer and can tell you there are no pictures or words to describe the
destruction.  So, if we want to do this, how do we do it to give something
to the community?

Hello EIDXA,

Well, this has been quite a spring/summer so far and I don't mean anything
to do
with radio.  I can't image what some of you there in CR and Ia City are
going through.
I live on one of the highest ridges in Wapello county and we are fighting
water from
our drains in the basement.

To the point of this email:  We had a club discussion a few meetings ago
discussing
four meetings per year which would lead us to a full summer meeting along
with the
picnic.  In view of the fact that there have been many effected by the
floods and other
required summer plans, I am taking a poll for a summer picnic only or a
meeting and picnic.
I talk with Terry on the repeater on Sunday and he indicated he has the
brats bought and has
volunteered his QTH for the picnic.  I am gone on the 12 -19th July (not
that is a big deal),
CVARC hamfest is 3 Aug and W0DXCC is 9-10th Aug.

Please give some feed back and I'll get a date and meeting announcement out.
