DXpedition to Lakshadweep Islands/Agatti Island, AS 011

in October/November 2008



Dear friends,



In connection with the Silver Jubilee of the NIAR India we planned a
DXpedition to the Lakshadweep Islands/ Agatti Island, AS 011 and we received
the confirmation for this activity.

It will happen between 24th October - 04th November 2008!



The team consists of:



DJ8NK            Jan B.C. Harders

DF7TT Juergen Oehler

DL9GFB          Franz Berndt

VU2JOS          Jose Jacob



We will be active on. 160 - 10m, 6m (if possible, depends on condx) in the

following modes:  CW, SSB, RTTY, BPSK;



Used equipment:

IC 7400; IC 7000; FT 897 + amplifiers;

Spider-beams and verticals for high bands;

40m  4square ant,

Verticals for 160 + 80m;

Vertical for 30m; dipoles, beverage for RX;



QSL-management:      DL9GFB ( all non-direct QSLs will be send via bureau!

We will report about the DXpedition to our sponsors and will show their
logos on the QSL, if wanted and we accept your rules for support.

There is no web-access possible during the DXpedition !
