[EIDXA] DX Convention Visalia, CA

I have reservations at the Holiday Inn Convention Center at Visalia 
for April 27-29.  With my broken ankle not healing as fast as I was 
anticipating, I will not be going this year.  The room (237) has two 
queen size beds and is located in a quiet area of the hotel.  (No 
late night parties outside your door like Dayton!)  The special rate 
for the convention is $90.

The DX programs this year are the expeditions to Swains Island, 
VU7RG, XF4DL, YI9MD, 4O2T, and 5A7A.

For a contester and occasional DXer (358/335), I prefer Visalia to 
Dayton.  I stopped going to Dayton several years ago.  At Visalia you 
are with 600+ of the top DXers and contesters in the world.

Southwest Airlines can give you the lowest fares to LAX.  A weekend 
rental compact is about $80.

If anyone is interested let me know and I will add your name to the 
reservation.  If I cancel the room it goes to the person at the top 
of the wait list. If I add your name to an existing reservation it's 
no problem.  Since I have the room guaranteed for late arrival with 
my credit card, I would ask you to use your own card. :-)
