[EIDXA] BS7 vote

Greetings EIDXA:

I didn't get to all the traffic over the weekend regarding the subject of the BS7 but here is the report as I have it tonight .... Monday.  

I suggested that we make up the $50 we needed to have a $250 total.  This was meet with several positive replies.  There was one reply indicating that $50 was already the amount he was planning to kick in so not to worry about meeting the $50.  Dave KJ9I did have a motion to re-vote with a new amount of $250 but I didn't receive a 2nd to that motion.   I can report that there were no descending votes to the motion by Gary K0GT for $200 OR for the suggestion to the increase of $50 by passing the hat.  

The voting deadline was set at Sunday night midnight Feb. 18th.  There have been 20 EIDXA members that voted.  There were no "nay" votes.  I have instructed George to send a contribution to their website in an amount of $250 in the name of EIDXA.  I also have asked George to include a copy of my report to him concerning this club decision and vote.

There were some suggestions regarding our dues at $5.  The suggestions proposed an increase to $10 to allow the club a greater ability to support higher donations of highly needed dxpeditions.  We should discuss this at the next meeting.
