[EIDXA] Wade Walstrom, W0EJ SK

Thanks Steve for the information although not the best of news.

Although I have been absent from being a full time Iowa resident and a
member of EIDXA for over 20 years,  It was always a pleasant surprise to
hear Wade's call during a contest and to exchange a few short ejoyable
comments before moving on.

A testiment to his influence and popularity are the number of messages I
have received regarding Wade including a general message to all of the
Florida Contest Group (made of many Northerners that have moved down here to
aquire a sunburn).  I was surprised by the number of FCG members who knew
Wade well also.

My memories of Wade were of someone who was very dedicated, intelligent and
a pleasure to have a conversation and an overall nice guy.  Although I
haven't had the pleasure of being physically near Wade for many years,  I
will still miss him and remember him fondly.
