[EIDXA] NR0X is in the hospital

Heinz has been in St Lukes hospital since Monday.  He is still in ICU.  The
blood vessel between the aorta and the adrenal gland some how ruptured
Monday morning, and Heinz was bleeding internally.  It took about 26 hours
to find where the bleeding was and to stop it.  The doctors finally were
able to maneuver a stent like item into the vessel and stop the lead.
During this time Heinz received 14 units of blood.  The leaked blood was
mostly trapped in his abdominal cavity and he was very bloated.  He
initially had a tight mask on and was his breathing was by machine (probably
because his diaphram was so pressed by the blood that he couldn't easily
breathe himself.)  Today he was not wearing the mask and was breathing on
his own.  He still has an IV and several bags are hooked up to it.  Karin
said that his kidneys are working very well and the bloating has abated
quite a bit.  The mask was quite uncomfortable when I saw him Wednesday and
he was pretty uncomfortable, and perturbed that he could not talk with it
on.  He was sleeping when I was there today and we did not waken him.

Karin has asked for our thoughts and prayers.  She also requested that Heinz
not have visitors while he is in ICU.  I will be intouch with Karin every
other day or so, and will keep you informed of how Heinz is doing.
