It includes a speaker as well as the power supply in a very nice cabinet. It was designed to be used with the Eico 753 transceiver, but can be used with most any of the tube type rigs from the 1960's and 70's. The manual says it provides the following voltages: 750 V DC at 300 ma High Voltage 280 V DC at 170 ma Low Voltage -100 V DC at 5 ma for bias 12.6 V AC at 4 amps for filaments This supply comes from a silent key estate; I am sure it has not been used for years. I do not have a rig to test it, but would expect it to work fine, but the filter capacitors likely will need to be replaced, as is the case with any of the units of this vintage. With manual for $125. Bird 43 Watt Meter: The Bird 43 is an insertion type RF watt meter, designed to measure RF power and load match in 50 ohm coaxial transmission lines. It is intended for use with CW, AM, FM, and TV modulation. It measures power from 100 mw to 10KW, depending on the element used. The meter provides direct readings in watts with an expanded scale for easy reading. The scale is graduated for 25, 50, and 100 full scale. Elements are available in a variety of power, and frequency ranges. This particular meter is model 4300.21 manufactured in March 1957, so it is the older, well constructed model. It has "N" connectors, with the leather handle, which is in good shape. The meter works well. $165. Dentron Super Super Tuner High Power Antenna Tuner: Dentron made a very heavy duty antenna tuner. It covers from 160 meters thru 10 meters continuously, including the WARC bands, and includes a balun that is also very heavy duty. This is one of the most rugged tuners available. The super super tuner is rated at 3000 Watts and a real brute. I don't think there is a heavier one made! Unless you are running far more than legal power, you do not need to worry about this one! Note that this is the "Super Super Tuner" with two "Super's". Dentron also made a tuner with only one "Super" that is only rated at 1500 watts. There is a big difference! This one works fine and looks extremely nice. At first glance, you would think it was new, but there are a couple of very light scratches that can be seen if the light is just right. With paper work for $225. Telex CM-1320 S Boom Mic / Headset: The CM-1320 consists of a single "over the ear" headphone, and a boom microphone. There is a PTT switch in line on the cord. With this set, you can have hands free operation, if you use VOX, or you can use the PTT switch in line. For the headphone portion, this set presently has an RCA phono plug with a mono 1/4 inch adapter (although other adapters could be used), and a round 4 pin mic plug, which can obviously be changed if desired. Wire color codes will be provided with the unit. This one works fine and looks fine. $25 Telex Model 610-1 Mono Communications Headphones: The Model 610 Headphones are sold as aviation headphones. They are the type that completely covers both ears. They are 600 ohm impedance, which is just right, since for most rigs when they are plugged in, the volume does not need to be adjusted. They will not "blast your ears off." Since they are designed for communications, they have a MONO 1/4 inch plug on them, which is what most rigs require. This particular pair works fine and looks very nice. No problems. $15 Communications Speakers: Vanco SPB-5 This speaker is about 4 inches square and about 2 inches deep. It is rated for 5 watts, has an 8 ohm impedance, and is listed as a 300 to 3000 Hz frequency response, making it ideal for communications. It has a 3.5 mm (1/8 inch) mono plug, as used by most modern rigs. Gimbal mount included. It is black in color, looks great, and sounds great. $12 Vanco SPB-6 Similar to SPB-5 above, but is considered a noise cancelling speaker. 10 Watt rating. Still in original box, new. $18 Realistic 21-549 A Appears to be the same as SPB-5 above, but with a Radio Shack label. Also includes gimbal mount. $12 Low Pass TVI Filters: A low pass TVI filter is added to the transmitter to reduce harmonic interference. All have SO-239 connectors and are 50 ohm filters. Johnson 250-20 This cylindrical low pass filter has a cut off frequency of 45 MHz and 75 db of attenuation, and is adjustable. Rated at 1000 Watts AM, or 5000 Watts PEP SSB. The fact that it is adjustable, means you can get rid of more TVI, and it is rated to handle higher power than most. A real win-win situation. $30 or with mounting bracket, $35. B & W 425 (same as FL-10/1500) Cuts off just above 10 meters, and handles 1500 Watts. Newer case style, $30. Older, heavier copper style case, painted gray. $35 Para Dynamics PDC 1089 This filter is rated at a full Kilowatt, up to 30 MHz. 5 x 6 x 2 inch black box, instead of the long enclosure. $25 Coaxial Antenna Switches: All work fine, look fine, and use SO-239 connectors. B & W Model 550 A Coax Switch This model will switch up to 5 antennas, and does NOT ground unused antennas. Coax comes out the side, like spokes of a wheel. It will handle the full legal limit. $35 SCP Comm Switch SC-40-AS Coax Switch Three position antenna switch in rectangular box. Connectors on the back. In original box. May be new. $24 Two position "Strip Line" Coax Switches: These switches utilize metal cavity construction for max efficiency and high isolation. Isolation is better than 50 dB at 300 MHz with low insertion loss less. All are two position and are typically rated for 2500 W PEP, and good to 600 MHz. Diawa CS-201 - $20 Opek CX-201 - $20 MFJ 1702 C - With center position that grounds both antennas, and added lightning protection. $25 I also have many other accessories available such as many different types of microphones, HTs, HF, VHF and UHF rigs, HF and VHF/UHF antennas, etc. Just too many to list here.
