[EICO] Eico 723 pretty much finished

     Your 723 looks great, you did an excellent job throughout.  With 
respect to the 10 meter issue, you can use a dip meter on the 10 meter coil 
to see what's happening there.  Also, it's been awhile since I rebuilt mine, 
but I recall some discussion about earlier instructions incorrectly mounting 
those band specific coils.  My construction booklet was from the late 60's 
and was correct, but I'm certain a few guys had problems with the wrong 
coils in place.  Of course your crystal may be a little sluggish, and the 
power out on 10 meters is significantly lower than on the other bands.  Be 
careful when cleaning those bandswitches they are very brittle, but De Ox It 
on the contacts really makes a difference.
     I know it was a lot of work, but you knocked it out a lot more quickly 
than I expected, I guess your desoldering tool really does make a difference 
as well as knowing what you're doing!
