[EICO] Eico 723 pretty much finished

Hi guys.

Well, thanks to ks1u, I got the balance of the steps for the 723 
construction. It's now finished electrically.

It does work. Boy, does that meter jump around! Has anyone found out a 
way to dampen the movement?

The unit loads fine on 80-15. I'm using an xtal on 7028 mHz. I cannot 
get the unit to load properly on 10 meters. I'm set up with a wattmeter 
and dummy load on the bench. I've tried with the extra cap in and out 
with no change. I have not checked the 10 meter wiring, and I still need 
to clean the bandswitch (and the operation switch). Using De-Oxit spray.

I'll do some pix very soon. I don't have the original knobs on for the 
initial tests. I have tem at work, where I've so far milled out the old
'indicator slot'. They will be refilled with epoxy ink, and I am going 
to pad-print the top of the knob with the original color. They should 
look pretty much new.
