Greetings One And All,
I was blinded in October 1964. That December my cousin bought me an EICO stereo
amplifier in kit form. He built it. I do not recall the model number. I used it
until 1974 when I upgraded to a solid state Sony TA-1144, which I still have and
it still plays great. Unfortunately the EICO is gone.
I would very much like to find another one. I do know that it put out about 15
watts RMS per channel. It had a brushed aluminum or stainless steel front panel
with plastic knobs. It had no case. It cost about $70 in kit form.
If any of you can tell me the model number of this amplifier for that era, or
help me find one to purchase, I would be most appreciative. Thank you in advance
for your assistance.
