Greetings all,
This message is a test to see if I've signed up to the Eico list correctly, to see if it's still active, and to ask a
 few Eico-related questions.

For background, I've been licensed since 1963 but the only Eico product I've owned (until recently) was a 722
VFO my folks bought for me when I received my General in 1964. (remember those days when we could put
the crystals away?) I ultimately got rid of that vfo, but have been able to find another one recently, along with
 a good 720.

I'm currently restoring a pair of 723 transmitters and am looking for the front trim piece for one of them, if anyone
has a unit that is being parted out or can suggest a source.

Also, now that I've gotten the 723s to the point of transmitting, I'm wondering if the 30-35 watts out is about as
good as I'm going to do? Also, they each have a very bouncy meter; doesn't seem to have any mechanical
damping, and am wondering if that's normal? Any general advice or recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Bill k1ev
