Garry is correct. It is perfectly acceptable to have another op go to your
station and work you (on the DXpedition) with you callsign from your
station.

Andy,
Bernie is correct.. In the past, it is said that the DXCC Desk winked at
submissions by DXped members of contacts inserted in the log, but I have
no personal knowledge of this. Some DXers strongly believe such
practices should be allowed; I do not. Such contacts would be bogus. The
question I ask is "What meaning is there to a contact that has been
confirmed but never made?" Such behavior is well beyond the rules and
the spirit of DXCC, and is nothing more than cheating.
In 2000, our K5K Kingman Reef group was on Christmas Island, on its way
home from the reef. N4XP and I discovered that several team members had
inserted their callsigns in the log. We called a meeting and instructed
that anyone who had done this should himself remove all such contacts,
and they did.
One cannot have it both ways--you cannot be on both ends of the QSO at once,
Having said that, I believe the DX Desk /will /allow contacts made from
a home station with the home station callsign but by another operator.
That is far from inserting oneself in the log.
