Frosty Its almost funny if you stop and think about it
These people will drop a couple of thousand dollars on their radios , and
antennas for
the top of the line stuff, yet they won't go to their Office Supply store
and buy a box of
envelopes for 5 bux and get stamps when the Old Lady sends them down to the
PO
to send out the bills on their way to work!
But you are right, Ive been doing duty as a Manager for about the last ten
or more
years also and really does seem to be getting worse
I like that the guy actually sent you a instructional on how to do LOTW
Never got one of those, Did and still do get Emails on it tho
Probably would have been cheaper of he just wrote out a QSL, and sent it to
you
with an SASE, and you know what? He would have had it confirmed already
too!!!
Like I said, you really have to laugh at some of these people!!!
I like the emails from the Ops over in Russia and other Deep European
countries
asking me about a QSL that they sent to the previous manager for V26B
via the bureau and why I haven't answered it yet, those are the strangest!!!

Hi Mike,
This is the first time in about 10 years of being a QSL manager that I have
had so many that did not at least include a envelope.
This is the first time getting a printout on how to do the LoTW from a ham
from overseas.
Like you said this is the life of doing QSL's for my trips.
