The "if at all" dosen't sound good.  This reply received early 
AM 8/13/07:


Mr. Rodgers:

I have several requests for radio operators to come to Midway 
next year.  At this time we are still trying to structure  when 
such a visit would fit in our schedule - if at all.   Since 
there are numerous requests, I will try to make it work, but I 
do not think it will be in the time frame you mentioned.  More 
likely it would be later in the year when the albatross numbers 
are down or completely gone.  That would put it in August - 
October timeframe.

Incidentally, there are no military flights to Midway so your 
flight status will not help in terms of getting here.  All of us 
and any visitors must come on the small charter plane that 
currently is the only means of access.  We hope in the future to 
have a larger plane, but that won't affect next year's program.

If you have any additional questions, please let me know.   I 
will keep your email in our database for visit requests, but if 
you want to contact me again later that is fine.
