26/05/2005:  Duncan, EA5ON, will once again be active from Freeport,
Grand Bahama Island (IOTA NA-080) as GM7CXM/C6A. His provisional dates
are from May 26th to May 30th. As in previous years, this is a business
trip, but he hope to be fairly active on 80-10 meters, mostly on SSB but
also some digital, and perhaps participating a bit in the CQWW WPX CW

26/05/2005:  Vassiliy, RW4NW, will be active until May 27th as RW4NW/9
from the Polovinsky Area (RDA reference KN-17), Kurganskaya oblast (KN).

26/05/2005:  Special call UE6LLL will be active until May 31st from the
Tarasovsky Area (RDA reference RO-60), Rostovskaya oblast (RO). QSL via

26/05/2005:  The Teresina DX Group (PS8) expedition to the Canaria
Island (IOTA SA-072) May 26th to 29th has been confirmed. ZW8A and ZW8DX
will be active on all bands (80-10m, including WARC) CW, SSB, and RTTY
using beam antennas and wire dipoles. The use of amplifiers will depend
if they have power availbale on the island. QSL ZW8A via PS8HF and ZW8DX

27/05/2005:  The Canary Islands DX Society will be active May 27-30th as
EF8CID to celebrate the Canary Islands Day. IOTA reference AF-004.
Activity will be on 15 meters only. All of the QSOs will be confirmed

27/05/2005:  Look for JI1PLF/1, JA1UNS/1, 7N1GMK/1, 7L4PVR/1 to be
active May 27-30th from Hachijo Island (IOTA AS-043, JIIA AS-043-003).
Activity will be on 160-6 meter SSB, CW and PSK31. QSL via home calls,

27/05/2005:  A large group of operators will be active May 27-29th as
homecall/p from the Forte di Collina di Cicala a Nola - Napoli (DCI
reference NA-036, WAIS EK-48, IDCA 168, ITA F-924, WW Loc. JN70GW.
Activity will be on 80, 40, 30, 20 and 15 meter CW and SSB, 6 and 2
meter SSB. The operators will be: IK8IVA/p, IK8TLX/p, IZ8FEN/p,
IZ8FCX/p, IK8XIR/p, IZ8GCD/p, IZ8FON/p, IK8URG/p, IW8DQY/p, IW8DGS/p,

28/05/2005:  Rick, AI5P, is now staying in Tonga (IOTA OC-049) from May

28/05/2005:  Operators YL2KL, YL1ZF, YL2LY and ES1AJ will be active from
the Canary Islands (IOTA AF-004) as EA8AH during the CQWW WPX CW Contest

28/05/2005:  Franck, F5TVG, will be active May 28-29th as either F5TVG/m
or F5TVG/p from two Castles located in Département de la Creuse (23). He
plans to activate the Castle of Jouillat (DFCF reference 23-004) and the

28/05/2005:  Look for Dan KD3CQ/p to be active May 28-29th from the East
Wharf lighthouse (ARLHS reference USA-1236), Hefner Lake, Oklahoma.
Activity will be SSB on 14.270 MHz (+/-) and 7.270 MHz (+/-) between

28/05/2005:  Look for Ric, DL2VFR, to be QRV May 28th to June 3rd as
LA/DL2VFR from Hellesoy Island (IOTA EU-055). Activity will be mainly

28/05/2005:  Members of the Scottish-Russian ARS (MM0DGR) and West of
Scotland ARS (GM4AGG) will be active May 28-30th from Burnt Islands. WAB
square is NS07 in Argyll & Bute Council Area (CAOSA: AB). Reference
numbers for island award programmes: IOTA EU-005, IOSA CL-13 and SCOTIA
CS-20. The expedition will use special callsign MS0DGR, and will base at
Eilean Buidhe. The team is going to use two working positions, mainly -
one is for CW, and another one is for SSB, but both positions will be
active on digital modes as well. Pertinent equipment available to the
group is two Icom transceivers IC-706 and IC-735, a number of portable
antennas (Windom, G5RV Plus, Cushcraft R6, Multiband Dipole), two
laptops, two generators, etc. Team: MM0DFV, GM0WRR, MM3IEB, GM4TOQ and

28/05/2005:  Jon, N0JK, will be active May 28-31st as VP9/N0JK from
Bermuda (IOTA NA-005), CQ WPX CW Contest included. During the contest,
emphasis will be on 160 and 80 meters. Outside the contest he will also
be on 6 meters with a 6M5X yagi and 100 watts, and 50 watts on 2 meters

29/05/2005:  Look for IQ7FG/IL7 to be active May 29th during the Gargano
50Mhz Contest from Isola San Nicola (IOTA EU-050, IIA FG-002, MIA

29/05/2005:  EA9CP (Toño) will be in San José, Costa Rica, from May 29th
to June 5th. Look for him on 20, 15 and 10 meters. He will be signing

30/05/2005:  From May 30th to June 28th, Jean F1PNR will sign TK/F1PNR
from South Corsica (EU-014), near L'Île Rousse, grid square JN42. The
location is 300 metres asl in front of the sea. Traffic time table:
every day from 0430 to 0900 UTC and 1600 to 1700 UTC. Mode SSB. FT857,
preamp 20db, 16 elements wide spacing. Window: 10 NE to 275 W. Bands:
mainly 2 metres (144.265 MHz). For the first time, Jean will appear on
HF too with 100w barefoot into a G5RV antenna. From the 12th to the
25th, Bernard F1YJ, will join Jean and will traffic as second operator
either as TK/F1PNR or TK/F1YJ. Please would you note that Jean is not a
keen op in pile ups. He doesn't like that at all. For TK/F1PNR or
TK/F1YJ, QSL when coming back home, via the French REF-Union bureau or

02/06/2005:  Jim, MM0BQI, will be QRV June 2-5th as MM0BQI/p from Lunga
Island, Treshnish Isles (IOTA EU-108, IOSA NH-17, SCOTIA DI-09).
Activity will be on 80 through 10 meters, including the WARC bands,

02/06/2005:  Adrian, G0KOM, will be operating from Gibraltar as
ZB2/G0KOM for the UKSMG 6 meter contest the first weekend of June. He
will be QRV hopefully from June 2nd until June 6th. Adrian hopes to
travel down to Gibraltar at least a further 2 times over the summer E,s
season, although primarily for 6 meters and will have full HF capability
and will operate on all bands appart from 160 when he has no 6m

02/06/2005:  Operators are being sought to join a DXpedition to Jagoi
Gunung, a Dayak village in Sarawak (9M8) located at 1,000 metres a.s.l.
It is proposed to operate from 3 to 5 June 2005 and Australian and DX
operators are being encouraged to join the group. A call sign has been
requested (TBA, QSL direct to VK4AAR) and interested parties should

03/06/2005:  A group of eleven operators (namely HL2EJT/4, HL1OJQ/4,
HL1OYF/4, HL1SRJ/4, HL1VAU/4, DS1KOQ/4, DS1NMA/4, DS3MLG/4, DS4NMJ,
DS4NYE and the President of the Korea Amateur Radio League, HL2AGG/4)

04/06/2005:  The University of Oulu radio club will be active in the
IARU Region 1 CW Field Day on 160-10m as OH8T/p from Hailuoto Island
(IOTA EU-184). Operators will include Pekka OH8HTS, Juhani OH8MXL, Antti

10/06/2005:  Mel, EA7AHS, will be active June 10-12th as CS0RCL/p from

28/07/2005:  Pete, W2GJ, and Steve, AA4V, are planning two trips to
Crooked Island, Bahamas (IOTA NA-113). They will be there for the IOTA
contest in July, 2005, and the CQ WW phone test in late October, 2005.
The calls will be C6ARV (AA4V) and C6APR (W2GJ). The operations in the
contest will be M/S with WARC bands operation by each operator before

29/07/2005:  A multi national team from France, Scotland and Belgium
will be active as TM4Z from Ouessant Island (IOTA EU-065, DIFM AT-001)

30/07/2005:  A team of operators from the Provins ARC will be active
from the QTH of Bernard, F9IE, on the Ile de Noirmoutier (IOTA EU-064,
DIFM AT-020) during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 30-31st). The team will
consist of Franck F4AJQ, Bernard F9IE, John F5VHQ and Pascal, F5JSD.
They will use a special TM0xx call, which will be given at the last

02/06/2005:  As each year, to commemorate the 6th of June 1944 landing,
the special callsign TM6JUN, will be aired once again, fom June 2nd to
8th. This year the goal is to be active on the most part of the amateur

19/06/2005:  The 1st Regiment of Fight Helicopters will organize the
Phalsbourg Air Show (Moselle area North East of France). Their hams will
