14/11/2003: Operators David K3LP (leader), Larry N7DD and Clint W3ARS
will head to St. Martin (NA-105) and arrive November 14th. They plan to
install antennas and operate as FS/K3LP in the CQWW CW Contest as a
Multi-Single entry. QSL via K5KV. Outside of the contest, look for them
to sign FS/K3LP (David), FS/N7DD (Larry), and FS/W3ARS. They will return

14/11/2003: UA3AOK (Valery), RA3AKF (Aleksey), RV3DPM (Alex), RX3AKL
(Vadim) and RX3AKQ (Vadim) will operate (on 160-10 metres CW, SSB, RTTY
and PSK) as RK3DZJ/3 and R3ARS/3 from the Russian National Park
"Smolenskoe Poozer'e" (RFF-142 for the Russian Flora and Fauna Award,
Region SM) between November 14th and 17th. Activity will be on 160
through 10 meter CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK. QSL RK3DZJ/3 via RA3DEJ, QSL

15/11/2003: Hans PA0VHA (RTTY) and Jack PA3BAG (SSB) will be active as
3B9/homecall from Rodrigues Island (AF-017) between November 10th to

15/11/2003: On Saturday the 15th November 2003, the group of 4Z5NB/m,
4Z4DX/m and 4X6ZK/m will operate a whole day activation for the Holyland
program. They will start around 04:00 UTC from G-11-HS and will go
through the following regions: HS, HD, JN, YZ, KT, HG, ZF, AK, HF. Main
activity will be at HG region but they will activate while driving from
areas they are passing. Freq. will be as usual 14265 kHz and probably 40
meters for local stations. They will try to help in the beginning to NA,
CA, SA, OC DX stations on 14265 khz. QSL via home calls (QRZ.com). [Tnx

15/11/2003: Dany, LZ2UU, will be the radio operator at the Bulgarian
Antarctic Base "St. Kliment Ohridski" (WABA LZ-002), situated on
Livingston Island, South Shetlands (AN-010). Dany will be there from the
middle of November until the end of February 2004. He will use the
callsign LZ0A on all amateur radio bands, CW, SSB and RTTY mode.
However, in the CQWW DX-CW Contest, he will use the VP8/LZ2UU callsign
(Also, maybe in any other contests too). [Tnx OPDX]
16/11/2003: Three JA operators will be active from Katmandu, Nepal
between November 16 and 22, 2003. They are Noboru, JA2AAU (9N7AU),
Takashi, JA2ALN (9N7LN) and Yasu, JA9LSZ (9N7SZ). They will operate on
40m to 6 meters. A 6 meter beacon will be on 50.100 MHz. Two HF rigs
with FL-2100B and a 6m rig, dipoles for 40m and 30m, a 5 element beam
for 20m-10m and a 5 element beam for 6m will be use. QSL via their home
call to JARL bureau or direct to address as follows: 9N7AU via JA2AAU

16/11/2003: Laurent, F8BBL, will be QRV with the special call sign TM7W
between November 16th and 30th, CQ WW CQ Contest included (November

17/11/2003: Fran�ois, F5JNE, will be QRV between November 17 and
November 24, 2003, from Belle �le en Mer Island (IOTA EU-048, DIFM
AT-15, Province of Britanny, Department 56, French Cantons (counties)
award DCF 56-04). Activity will be mainly CW on 40 and 20 meters, in the
afternoon beginning approximately 13:00 UTC. On November 22nd, he will
activate Fort of Port Maria (DFCF 56015) on 40 meter SSB. On November
23rd he will be activity counting for both for French Castles award and
French Onshore Lighthouses (DPLF), from the Fort de la Pointe de
Kerdonis, Fort and Lighthouse (DFCF reference 56015, DPLF reference PB
067, ARLHS reference FRA-323), again on 40 meter SSB. An activity from
the Goulphar lighthouse (DPLF PB 048, ARLHS FRA-301), will be also
possible, if approaching and settling station could be possible

17/11/2003: Jack, F6BUM, will visit Suasi Island (no IOTA) in Lake
Titicaca, between November 17th and 21st. Unfortunately QSL direct ONLY.

19/11/2003: About 17 OMs and 3 XYLs will operate from Kerkenah Islands
(AF-073) from November 19th to December 1st. Their activity will include
the CQ World Wide DX CW Contest (November 29-30th) as a Multi-2 entry
using the callsign TS7N. During their time there, they plan to have five
active stations on all modes and on 160 through 6 meters. Operators
mentioned are: 9K2RR, JH4RHF, DK1BT, DJ9CB, DJ7IK, DK7YY, DL3KDV, DF2SS

20/11/2003: Ann, WA1S, will be active from Grenada (NA-024) as J38AA
(expected license renewal) in the CQ World Wide DX CW Contest (November
29-30th) as a Single-Op/All Band/Low Power entry. Ann reports that she
will arrive late November 20th and stay until December 1st. Activity
outside of the contest will be on 160-10 meters but will primarily
concentrate on the WARC bands. The mode will mainly be CW, but she will

21/11/2003: Yoshiro, N1VF, plans to be signing N1VF/KH2 from Guam
(OC-026) between November 21st and 24th. No details on bands/modes of

21/11/2003: Oleg, UA1PBA, reports that he is currently in St.
Petersburg preparing for the upcoming Antarctic summer season as R1ANF.
He will leave for Saam Bellingshausen Base (WABA UA-004) located on King
George Island, South Shetland Islands (IOTA AN-010) the middle of
November by plane. Arrival is planned sometime between November 21st and
24th. Oleg will again be chief of the station during this season.
However, it can not be ruled out that he will stay there longer (maybe a
year and a half) due to all the work which has to be done. The R1ANF
team this season will consist of the following operators: Slava UA1PAI,
Aleksei UA1PAW (you know him from last season) and Oleg UA1PBA. If work
allows they will be active also from other locations. However, detailed

21/11/2003: Steve, G0UIH, reports he will be active again as VK2IAY/4
between November 21st and December 21st. Exact itinery is yet to be
finalised, but the following activations are in the initial stages of
planning: Hook Island (OC-160) around 1 December for 7 days, Dunk Island
(OC-171) around 9 December for 5 days and Moreton Island (OC-137) around
15 December for 4/5 days. Further information is expected in due course.

22/11/2003: Cal, WF5W, and Paul, W5PF, will arrive on Yap Island
(OC-012) on November 22nd. They will operate as V63WC and V63PF,
respectively, until November 29th. They will use 100 watt radios, wire
dipoles for 30 and 40 meters and a 2 element SteppIR yagi for 20-6
meters. Operation will be CW and SSB with no digital modes planned at
this time. Some limited operation in the CQWW CW Contest may be

23/11/2003: Operators DL1EFD, DL1QW, DL1YD, DJ6QT, I2VXJ, IK2QEI,
SM2EKM and W8LU will be active from the Madeira Islands (AF-014) as CT9L
in the CQ World Wide DX CW Contest (November 29-30th) as a Multi-2
entry. QSL via DJ6QT. Before and after the contest, operators will use

23/11/2003: Members of the Western Wireless CC will be active from
Eastern Kiribati (OC-024) between November 23rd and December 7th and
participate in the CQ World Wide DX CW Contest (November 29-30) as a
Multi/2 entry. Operators will be Barry/N0KV (T32KV), Bill/K0MP (T32MP),
Valeriy/N2WW, Gregory/W0ZA, Paul/NO0T and Tim/N0ZM. All T32 callsigns
have not been received yet. They will be active on 160-10 meters
including the WARC bands. Modes will be CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK-31. QSLs

24/11/2003: A team of eight French military operators will be active
from Europa Island (AF-009, WW Loc. LG07EQ) between November 24th and
December 15th. They will use a French navy ship to get to Europa and
also return. On the return trip they will head to Reunion Island. The
callsigns they requested are TO4E for the main operation and TO4WW for
the CQWW CW Contest. They plan to have 3 stations on the air. Donations
can be sent via F5OGL. QSL cards will be handled by F5OGL and may be
sent via the bureau or direct to Didier Senmartin, P.O. Box 7, 53320
Loiron, France.
(Last Update). Dany, F5CW, reports that the operation is still a go, and
on November 3rd, he shipped 250 Kg of equipments from Roissy CDG Airport
to St. Denis, Reunion Island. The Europa team will leave Paris late
November 15th and arrive in St. Denis, Reunion, at about 1030 AM (local
time) on the 16th. The Europa team consists of: Dany/F5CW (CW),
Eric/F5JKK (6 meters), Jean-Louis/F5NHJ (digimodes, 6 meters, SSB),
Freddy/F5IRO (SSB) and Pascal/F5PTM (CW). ADDED NOTE TO CONTESTERS:
Please keep in mind to add in your CTY file that TO4WW and TO4E are for

24/11/2003: Larry/N2WW (T32WW, QSL via N0KV), Bill/K0MP (T32MP, QSL via
N0KV), Barry/N0KV (T32KV, QSL via home call), Greg/W0ZA (T32ZA, QSL via
home call), Tim/N0ZM (T32ZM, QSL via home call), Paul/NO0T (T32N, QSL
via home call), Cheryl/N0WBV (T32YL, QSL via KT0F) and John/KT0F (T32TF,
QSL via home call) will be active on all bands from Kiritimati
(Christmas) Island, East Kiribati (OC-024) from 24 November through 8
December, including a Multi-Two entry in the CQ WW DX CW Contest as

25/11/2003: Fred, G4BWP, ex XT2WP, will be active from Niger, as 5U7WP,
on HF bands and mainly on CW, for some days before and after the CQ WW
DX-CW contest. During the contest, Fred will sign 5U7A or 5U5A (the call

25/11/2003: David KY1V, Kyle WA4PGM, Juha OH9MM and Kari OH3RB will be
active from La Villa Rose in Whitby on North Caicos Island (NA-002)
between November 25 through December 2, 2003. They will be operating in
the CQWW-CW contest (November 29-30) as VP5X. The remainder of the week
they will be operating all bands and all modes as VP5/homecall. More

26/11/2003: The Atacama Desert Dx group operators XQ1IDM, XQ4ZW,
CE1URH, CE1RQB,CE1VBH, CE1FLS, CA2WUI, CD0906 and CE6TBN will be on the
air as 3G2D from Damas island (IOTA SA-086, DICE ICE-201, WW Loc.
FG40fs) November 26th to 28th. They will be on the air from 160 through
6 meter CW, SSB and RTTY/PSK. They plan to operate 3 stations 24 hours a

26/11/2003: Jose, ON4LAC, will be QRV as FR5/ON4LAC from Reunion Island
(AF-016) November 26th and December 15th. He plans to be QRV on SSB,

26/11/2003: Ken, K6TA, and xyl Kay, K6KO, will be in Aruba (SA-036)
November 26th to December 17th active as P40K and P40TA. They also plan
to be active in the following contests: CQ WW DX CW (November 29-30th)
as a Single Op/All Band/ High Power entry as P40TA; ARRL 160 Meter
(December 5-7th) as a Single Op/High Power entry as P40TA; and the ARRL
10 Meter (December 13-14th) as a M/S entry as P40K. While on Aruba, they
plan to visit some of the lighthouses on the island. Look for some
activity from California (Hudishibana) Lighthouse (ARLHS reference
ARU-001) and Ceru Colorado Lighthouse (ARLHS reference ARU-002). QSL

27/11/2003: Ted, S51TA, will be active from Corsica (EU-014) as TK9A in
the CQ World Wide DX CW Contest (November 29-30th) as a Single-Op/All
Band entry. Before the contest he will be active as TK/S51TA or possibly

27/11/2003: VK9CJ (JA1KJW), VK9CV (JA8VE) will be QRV from the
Cocos-Keeeling Islands (OC-003) between 27 Noveber and 7 December, 2003.
Activity will be on 160 through 10 meter CW, SSB and RTTY. QSLs via

27/11/2003: Bud, N7CW, is pleased to announce that the team of John,
K6AM, Ned AA7A, Lee, KY7M and Bud, N7CW will activate ZF1A (IOTA NA-016)
in the 2003 CW WPX Contest (Nov 29-30). This will be a multi-single
operation, with limited operation before and after the contest. Please

28/11/2003: Tom, W2SC, will make a short contest trip to here between
November 28th and December 1st. He plans to be active as 8P5A in the CQ
World Wide DX CW Contest (November 29-30th) as a Single-Op/All Band/Low

28/11/2003: Erling, LA5RIA, is going to be active as JW5RIA from Bear
Island (IOTA EU-027, WW Loc. JQ94mm) from the end of November until June

28/11/2003: Bob, KE0UI, will be active from Hawaii (OC-019) as

28/11/2003: WY7I (Paul) and K7LXC (Steve) will be active from Antigua
(NA-100) as V26DX during the CQWW CW DX Contest as a Multi-Single entry.
They will be there between November 28th and December 1st. They will be

29/11/2003: A disappointed Jon, DU9/N0NM, reports that he will not be
able to use his callsign 4D71NM from the Mindanao's Coastal Islands
(OC-235) during the CQWW DX CW Contest. Instead, he will use 4D71/N0NM.

29/11/2003: Artyom, UA3VCS, will be active from Taiwan (AS-020) as
BW4/UA3VCS in the CQ World Wide DX CW Contest (November 29-30th) as a

21/07/2004: The Cray Valley Radio Society will be operating from 21
July to 26 July, 2004, on the Isles of Scilly (IOTA EU-011). M8C/P is
the proposed call for the IOTA contest (July 24-25th). All other times
the operators will use homecall/p. The will be active on all bands, SSB,
CW and data modes. The operators will be G0VJG (Nobby), G4BUO (Dave),
G7GLW (Richard), G0FDZ (Chris), 2E0ATY (Ralph) and M3CVN (Simon). QSL
