10/06/2003:  Commemorative Station of The Ogasawara Islands 35th Anniversary
of the Reversion. Ogawawara Islands (AS-031) are located approximately
1000km south of Tokyo, and it is distinguished from the mainland on DXCC
program as JD1. The Village of Ogasawara organized the commemorative amateur
radio station to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the reversion from June
10th through August 31st this year. This radio station is the club station
and is employed including many newcomers who are from among of 2400
residents of Ogasawara Islands. For this purpose, we trained the people of
the village for purposes of allowing them to obtain the license. The same
call sign "JD1YAB" as the JARL commemorative station of reversion employed
34 years ago, i.e., one year after return, is used for this radio station
under the recognition of JARL They will operate all bands and modes
including 80m to 2m SSB, CW, RTTY, SSTV, Satellite (AO-10, UO-14) etc. up to
200W output depending on each privilege of operator. All QSL will be sent to
the world via the bureau automatically without your QSL request. Also if you
want it directly, it will be issued by the QSL manager, JA1MRM. Send SAE
(Self Addressed Envelope) and 1 IRC or sufficient return postage to JA1MRM:

11/06/2003:  Look for Jurij, MMODFV/p, to be QRV June 11th from the Isle of
Arran (IOTA EU-123, IOSA CL-O1, SCOTIA CS-14, WAB NSO2, WW Loc. IO75kk). He
will be active on 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meter CW and SSB. QSL cards can be
sent through the RSGB QSL bureau or via home address (QRZ.com). [Tnx MMODFV]

13/06/2003:  Gulli, TF8GX, will be QRV between June 13th and 20th from the
eastern TF6 region of Iceland (EU-021). He will be using the call TF6GX.
